I haven't been sewing. I started a quilt back in March(why does that seem so long ago? lol) and I'm just not feeling it. So I stopped sewing. And told myself that I couldn't start anything new until I finished this quilt.
Last week I wanted to get back at it. I have some deadlines coming up that I need to meet and because I am not a fan of this quilt, I knew if I didn't finish it now, it wasn't getting finished.
So, nose to the grindstone and I got the blocks finished up and the sashings made yesterday.
The fabric is not the greatest; a very paperlike feeling batik. And the blue colour runs; so not awesome. And I have no idea what I am going to do with this once it's done. Might turn into a camping quilt lol.
But as a reward for powering through, I got this mini quilt done.
I am debating the quilting; either a spiral circle or I might even try hand quilting it. I'll keep you posted.
