And it really works.

Quilt Monday

Took some time and got these two baby quilts finished up.

I think they are perfect for two twin boys.

I used my favourite Grunge fabric, white paper and and olive and blue Dapple Dot by Riley Blake.

I quilted them both the same with the pantograph Laurie.

I went with a blue flannel for the blue

And green on the olive one.
These are going to be so soft and fluffy when they get washed!

I could make plus quilts every day and probably still not get tired of them.

You know you'll be seeing more of them!

Happy Monday!

quilt monday

I had offered to do a door prize for an event. I thought they would give me some warning for when they needed it.

Imagine my surprise when I was told the day of.

Luckily I have a quick table runner pattern that came to the rescue.

fyi, it's ridiculously hard to take a picture of a table runner :)

This is so easy to put together.
Cut a variety of different width strips cut to the length you want and sew together.
Simple and effective.

I used the Riley Blake line Old Fashioned Christmas for this one(currently priced at $15/m! you can see the line here).

I kept the quilting simple and went with a stipple for the quilting.

And now it's happy in it's new home.

Happy Monday.

quilts, quilts and more quilts

I've been busy, busy quilting.

Now to find to quilt them up!

First up, this quilt for my nephew.

I used a FQ bundle of Grunge dots and the Plus Minus quilt by Quilty Love.

Two special quilts for Rising Mama Collective.

Made up the latest free quilt from The Blanket Statement.

And started a Christmas quilt that took waaaaaay too long to get to just this small section.

What are you working on?

quilt monday

I cut this quilt out planning on it being a baby quilt.

I should have realized from the cutting instructions that no way was this going to be a baby quilt lol.

And then I quilted it so quickly, I didn't even get a chance to take a picture.

I adore the softness of the fabrics.
I used my favourite Grunge, grey paper, and a pale Kona pink.

quilted with Ribbon Rose

I love making plus quilts.
They go together so quickly and usually take very little fabric which makes them a bonus.
The pattern for this one is from one of my favourites, Quilty Love.
You can find the pattern here.

I used a soft flannel for the backing.
And used the same pink for the binding.

You know I'll be making another.

Happy Monday.

quilt monday

Soon as I saw this pattern, I knew I had to make it.

I probably should have taken the quilt down and gotten better pictures lol.

This pattern is from Lo & Behold Stitchery and I used my current favourite colour combo.

quilted with All that Jazz

I used the same navy in the quilt as the binding.
Love how it pops.

It's such a striking quilt and
I'm already thinking of some other colour options to make another.

It really makes me happy.

Happy Monday!
