adventures

trying to cram as many fun things as we can these last few weeks of summer vacation. yesterday we went and did a local hike. was allot of fun, good climb to the summit. and more importantly, no bears lol!

finally

got the quilting done on this. i bought the kit back in February and completed the top in June. and its been hanging in my *to be quilted closet*. i am trying to quilt one thing a week for myself. gives me a chance at more practice, plus i have 8 things in that closet that are for me alone lol!!

i love how it turned out. i made it bigger than the pattern suggested(its for my dining room table and its a large oval. plus there was a lot of leftover fabric)

i used the pattern Arabia by Lisa Thiessen i LOVE this pattern.
