quilt monday

Just a few pictures today; for some reason I only took two and am too lazy to go take more lol.

I started this quilt months ago; it seemed to take forever to get the top pieced together. When I finally did, I happily discovered that I had enough blocks to make two. That is always a bonus.

I wasn't sure how to quilt this originally than we got some new patterns in and when I saw Honeycomb I thought it would be perfect. I think I was right.

I couldn't find any yardage in this line and didn't want to bind it in (boring)white when I found this fun print in my stash.

Now to finish up the other one.

quilt show

It's been a while since I've shown some client quilts. Here's a few that have kept me busy this month. All of these are from Hamels Quilt shop.

quilted with Bayside

I love this next quilt. This same line came out in a teal; stunning!!
quilted with crazy 8s
Quilting a modern pattern on it wasn't expected by Hamels but it looked/s perfect for it.

These next ones are fantastic for a snowman lover like myself. Both were quilted with Flirtatious.

And this embroidery quilt.

Super cute!

Love this next one.

quilted with He Loves Me

Love this new fabric line.

quilted with Autumn Leaves

More Christmas themed fabric.

quilted with Lush Leaves

Love the panel with this line.

An adorable baby quilt.

quilted with Shooting Stars

This fun flannel farm quilt.

quilted with Swirl

quilted with Wildflower

Lastly, this stunning quilt.

quilted with Morning Glory

Love the detail.

Do you have a favorite?

quilt monday

I couldn't even begin to tell you when I pieced this quilt. Maybe 2 summers ago. 3 even. I finally took some time and got it quilted.

This was a free pattern from Moda Bake Shop

I added some details to the houses and did some easy lines in the blank spaces.

In the background I did my favorite water stitch

Sure feels good to have crossed another ufo off the list!

quilt monday

Hello!! How it's already almost the middle of August is beyond me; where has summer gone? And I have barely spent anytime in my sewing room; I can't remember the last time I have gone this long without sewing. What have I been working on? Mini quilts!!

I made this first one as a surprise gift for a very dear friend.

And for another friend

It took longer than I want to admit to make this next mini. And even longer to get it quilted.

I seem to be on a kick with aqua binding lol.

I had some time home alone Saturday afternoon(woohoo lol) and I got my July fresh mini quilt finished.

Can you guess what colour I plan on binding this one in?
