Week one of spring break is coming to an end and it's been a great week. I even got to spend some time in my sewing room and started something new.
I have completed a few embroidery projects as well this week.

And I finally got my Birdie Stitchery blocks finished!
Today a girlfriend and I went to the Creative Stitches show. It wasn't as good as years passed but I did find something to bring home.
Tonight during family movie night, it feels right to start another little something,

Yay for the birdies! That must feel good! And I'm loving the willow tree!
You beat me in the Birdie Stitches race! I think I have 6 or 7 blocks done. What are you going to do with them? I stitched mine like you did, without the sashing already attached. I wanted something fancier than the straight block setting, but right now they aren't looking too fancy sitting in a block box. Meh.
