finishes
So excited to have a few finished quilt tops again.
I took my Winterville kit and made 2 quilts out of it.
I probably should have ironed it before I took the picture lol.
I have the 4 corner snowflake blocks left over.
I might make a table runner with them.
And I started something with a quilt panel I picked up in January.
I'm pretty excited with my idea for it.
Stay tuned!
quilt monday
My fifth son got married ;) and I absolutely had to make them a wedding quilt.
I had made him a quilt when he graduated, you can see it here, so I wanted this to be more of a lap quilt.
Enter Mod Charms by Quilty Love. Yes, again :)

If you haven't made one of these yet, what are you waiting for? It is such a great quick pattern. And it's a freebie.
Of course I used a snuggly flannel for the backing.
I know they will enjoy it for years :)

quilt monday
I've been working my way through some UFOs and hit the Christmas quilts lol.
I've longarmed a few of these over the years and had to get one of my own.
I didn't read the directions, shocking I know, and screwed up adding the ricrac but it worked out ago in the end.
I used the panto Christmas Doodle for the quilt body
and stippled around the appliques and snowflake.
Had to go with a flannel for the back, better for winter snugglings.
Christmas will be here sooner than we think.
Happy Monday :)
play time
I've been keeping busy
Making some great progress on my Winterville quilt.
A few more TrueNorth bee blocks.
This first batch was a fun one.
And started on something new that I am REALLY excited about.
quilt monday
I did it again.
I made another scrappy chevron.
Hands down one of my favourite quilt patterns.
You can find it here.
This was a grad quilt and done in requested colours of black/grey and teal.
I love the contrast.
I used one of my favourite quilt pantos, Malachite.
It compliments the piecing perfectly.
I went with a dark binding which I love how it just finishes everything off.
Can't wait to make another one.
You know it won't be long before I do!
