quilt monday

Sorry it's a late one tonight; it's been one of those days.

I finally got the binding finished on my Luna Notte quilt. I've been working on the binding for way too long; my carpal tunnel has flared up again with all the badminton I've been playing. I can't believe how long it actually took to get it sewn down.

But it's done and on the bed. And I loves it oh so very, very much!

I straight-lined the entire quilt. I was going to do a funky scrolled feather in the borders but once I got the quilt on my machine, I just wanted to get it done.

I used So Fine thread in a charcoal color. It's my go-to thread for straight-line quilting.

Now I just have to get the pillow shams finished and our room redo is done! Originally I was going to make curtains but then I scored these panels for $12each at Fabricland. I couldn't get get fabric at that price to make curtains. And I love how the red matches the red in my Rouenneries quilt

Love it! 3 Sisters designs the BEST fabric lines. Did you use an Atkinson Design pattern? It looks really familiar to me...and I probably have it and still haven't used it!
