quilt monday

I posted a sneak peek of this quilt a few weeks ago. I didn't want to show a finished picture until I had the binding finished(it just maybe my favorite part!)

I pieced this quilt a year ago. And it's sat waiting for me to figure out how to quilt it.
I finally decided on something simple, a baptist fan.

It doesn't take away from the quilt at all; it was the perfect choice.
And speaking of perfect, check out the striped binding. I love it.

I think I need to make another.

This is lovely and that binding is spot on. I think choosing the quilting sometimes is so hard but this really compliments the piecing. Well done you.

Pretty colors and I always like a "zig zaq" quilt. The striped binding looks really sharp!

So pretty and very striking, I love it! Stripes on a binding is always a good choice for some extra pizzaz.

The softness of the fan quilting sets off the angles of the pieced pattern perfectly....great job!!! The binding is awesome and, by all means, you must make another!!! hugs, D

That's beautiful. I love the contrast between the sharp, straight line piecing and the curved baptist fans.
