I quilted this before I went to Quilts Canada thinking I could get the binding on during the show. As you can see, that didn't happen!

I custom quilted this; echoed each bird block and than meandered in the blocks. I matched all the threads to the fabrics even. And I just realized how small the blocks look in the picture; they are actually 19.5inch blocks. If I remember right, the quilt measures around 55 inches square.
I love how it turned out. The birds do have eyes but I'm thinking of using buttons instead; will decide once I get the binding done.
