i have no idea what type of hawk this is; he's never visited here before that we've seen. he's not a sharp shinned or cooper hawk(we've had both here before) and he's not a red-tailed hawk either. if you know what he is, please let me know!
edited to add that i found broad winged hawk and i think its him

Awesome...we had a hawk (mom said it was an eagle..but it didn't have the feathery wings) flying over us this afternoon...the crows were freaking
My kids would have been all over that...they love seeing wild life! Thanks for sharing!
