my favoritest Christmas card

i entered it into a Christmas card contest that an online stamping group i'm a member of does every year. sadly, i wasn't a winner. i still think it is an absolutely fantastic card!



and today i WILL finish my Christmas cards-i have 3 kids home sick today, 2 just got it, 1 is just getting over it lol. at least they are all in good moods considering

another Christmas card

i am still not finished them! well i was, but than mom bought half of what i had made. i must finish them Wednesday or some people are just not getting one this year lol!

i was so excited

to carve out some time to work on a snowman wallhanging for myself today. i went to appliqué the letters down and discovered this. i have to admit, i'm pretty tempted to just use the letters this way lol!

we got dumped on with snow last night here and it's still snowing. so break out the snow clothes and have some fun!

Black Forest Cheesecake


Ingredients
20 OREO Cookies, crushed (about 2 cups)
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
4 pkg. (250 g each) Brick Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sour cream
6 squares Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted
4 eggs
2 cups thawed Whipped Topping
1 can (19 oz./540 mL) cherry pie filling

Directions
1 PREHEAT oven to 325ºF. Line 13x9-inch baking pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan. Mix cookie crumbs and butter; press firmly onto bottom of prepared pan. Bake 10 min.
2 BEAT cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add sour cream and chocolate; mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Pour over crust.
3 BAKE 40 min. or until centre is almost set. Cool. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight. Lift cheesecake from pan, using foil handles. Top with whipped topping and pie filling. Store any leftover cheesecake in refrigerator.

sorry it's late. went down to Washington State last night for some Christmas shopping with my mom and A(he had no school today) got back in time to hit the grocery store and now i'm totally worn out. and i still have to unload, and find places to hide, everything in the van lol!
