I finished a long ago started renovation project,

I'm looking very forward to finally getting to hang my Luna Notte wreath in it's proper home.

There's a story behind this one. I used the Yellow Brick Road pattern, one I have made at least 12 times. I was watching a movie and not really paying attention to what I was doing. And cut too many of a block. And didn't have enough fabric left to fix things. So my cute little baby quilt is a cuter little table topper.

I had to quilt it with straight-lines; I am addicted to them!

Now this one is for sale. If you are interested, it is listed at $55(plus postage). It measures 35inches square and made of 100% cotton materials.

I had the bestest sewing day on Saturday! I got TWO king quilts completed!

First up, I got my Luna Notte quilt. I put all the blocks together way back in May and it has sat every since on my sewing table waiting. And Saturday was the day.

Now I will admit to absolutely hating the border fabric but it was the only yardage I could find that was the amount that I needed. I'm hoping that the quilting I have planned for it will *hide* the border. We'll see.

Next I finally got the rest of the borders on my Thangles quilt. This has been sitting since March of last year waiting for me to decide what to do with it.

Well, it's finished now and now I need to decide if I am going to give it away or keep it. Think I'll decide after I get it all quilted up; more than likely it's going to go to a new home.

Wonder if I can sneak a jelly roll quilt out tonight. Hmmm, I'll keep you posted!!

Blueberry Crumble

4 c. fresh blueberries
12 tbsp. sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
Combine 4 cups washed and stemmed blueberries with 6 tablespoons (1/2 of total amount) sugar and juice of lemon. Put in buttered baking dish.
Combine 3/4 cup flour, 1/3 cup butter, 6 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Work into crumbly consistency. Sprinkle over blueberries. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Delicious over vanilla ice cream. Serve warm.

I started quilting a quilt that has been on the design wall at the studio for almost an entire year.

Quilting is going way slower then I had planned. Or I'm just that impatient ;)

Came home to this in the mail.

Sew excited! Now to decide what to start on first!

And because the hot weather killed some of my planter baskets while we were on holidays last week and the price was just too right; these followed me home.

Jim took 'the littles' as we call them to the movies. The 'olders' are both at camp and I have a few hours of quiet to do some sewing. Enjoy your evening!
