January of 2015 I started this quilt. Got all the blocks made and it sat and sat. Last Christmas I did a trade with a friend; she would do my embroidery and I would quilt for her. A win for both of us.
I quilted it in March and finally got the binding finished and added the buttons in July. This Christmas I'll finally get to enjoy it.
Snowman are absolutely my favourite and these guys are the cutest.
I meandered around the snowman and in the sashings. The quilting is simpler than I wanted but it's what came out when I started quilting it.
The outer border is a free-hand meander with stars.
Is it winter yet?
