I love quilt show season

And getting to see all the new patterns and quilts that Hamels has ready to tempt quilters.

I'm not a fan of basket quilts but this one is lovely

busy as a bee

I've got the first of my grad quilts almost put together.

Last night I got the rows sewn together and added the sashings. I need to get some more sashing fabric for the borders and this one is done.

I also picked up these.

I feel a need for some new table runners.
You can never have too many lol!

quilt monday

When I first saw Sweet Serenade; I knew I had to make something pretty quickly with it.

Isn't it lovely? The pattern is Mesmerize and showcases the fabrics perfectly.

quilted with Dazzle

I went with one of my favorite prints for the binding.

And yet again, another fabric line I should have hoarded more of.
I think I need a bigger sewing room ;)

quilt monday

Can't believe I forgot to show this table runner. I bought the charm pack on a whim and was disappointed with it once I opened it up and had no idea what to do with it.
It sat for longer than I care to admit on my sewing table until one afternoon I just started sewing.

I had the background fabric in my stash. It's not a Kona or a Bella solid; it feels almost like a brushed cotton but not as thick if that makes sense. And the colour was a perfect match to my charm squares.

I went with my standard table runner panto Double Plume. Soon every table runner I own will have this panto lol; I just can't find another one that I love this much.

I'm glad I was able to sneak this in for quilting. We are ridiculously busy right now(always good news bad news!) and I don't know when I will have time to quilt something of my own again lol.

baby boom

We have a baby boom occurring in our church right now. I picked up a fat quarter stack of Safari Playground (check it out; just too cute!!). With a bit of yardage for borders and binding, I was able to make 3 baby quilts with the FQs.

You knew one was going to be a pinwheel right?

This next one is such a super quick quilt to do; had this one made up in 2 hours!

I also did this adorable mini.

Dare I admit that it took me all.day.long. Seriously.
Pattern can be found here.

Next up? Time to start on some grad quilts!
