Chocolate Chunk Sour Cream Coffee Cake
preheat oven to 350. grease 10x4inch round tube pan
3/4cup white sugar
mix well in small bowl
2 3/4cup flour
2tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup unsalted butter,softened (i've used margarine fine)
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup sour cream
sift together flour, baking powder and soda.
in large bowl, beat butter until creamy. gradually add sugar.
beat for 1 1/2-2 minutes until light and fluffy
one at a time, add eggs beating well after each. beat in vanilla
in three additions, mix the dry incidents in alternatively with sour cream
scrape 1/3 of the batter into a prepare pan. spread evenly. cover batter with 1/3 of the filling. repeat ending with filling on top
bake for 55-65 minutes. cool cake in pan on wire rack for 15 minutes or until chocolate starts to harden. remove from pan and cool completely.
