got mom's quilt sewn together tonight. had enough cut fabric to make one for step mommy in law as well. i'm going to quilt mom's on my sewing machine. its not that big; i've quilted bigger, it's just been awhile lol
*gasp* my jaw literally dropped when I clicked on your blog today - THIS IS GORGEOUS!!! Absolutely stunningly amazingly beautiful! I *SO* want to be a quilter like you. :D
thank you Cindy. its all batic fabrics-i stole mom's bin of them to make it lol! i was disappointed with it at first. but now that i've taken a picture of it and the light/darks are so predominante in the picture-i just might have to make one for myself :)
I "dabbled" with patchework a few years ago, but never got as hooked as you so obvioulsy are - maybe because I didn't make anything half as spectacular as this!

Kai, i won't tell you how little time the quilt seriously took. its rather disgusting how quick it went together. it even surprised me!
