This is my current go to boy colour theme for quilts. 

And I'm not sad about it.

This is a free pattern offered by Dear Stella. It went together so quickly. 

I actually pieced the top in one day while camping in April.

This tartan print flannel was the perfect match as a backing.

Love the shadows in this pictures.

I gave this quilt to my cousin for the birth of her son. 

I already know I'm going to make another one and I'm thinking of all the pretty feminine fabrics I could use for a sweet baby girl one.
