Earlier this year I was asked by a chaplain from a local woman's prison if I would be interested in supplying baby quilts to some of the inmates who were pregnant when they were imprisoned. I have since made and delivered about 9 quilts. This is one of the latest.
I had seen this pattern online and knew it would be a quick and easy quilt to make up. And I could use the stash of pretties I had been saving since doing the grad quilts last year.
Except I didn't account for something. I made the quilt bigger which made it difficult to make the cuts straight(the quilt was sewn together then cut apart again).

It's still pretty cute.
And I love the pieced binding.
Now it's off to welcome a new baby.
