quilt monday

I finally figured out what to do with my Elementary churn dash quilt. I was originally going to straight line quilt it but when I started quilting, something else just happened.

hmm, maybe I should have ironed this before I took pictures lol..

I still went with straight lines but I went a little fun with it.

I didn't want the binding to disappear into the quilt so I went with the black print.

I do wonder if I should have put a border on it but I like the size so I left them off.

I love how the quilting gives this different textures(and the fold line lol!). Sure am happy that I didn't just give in and straight line it.
