quilt monday

I picked up a quilting magazine over the summer and it had the neatest table runner pattern in it. I knew I wanted to make one but I had no idea what fabric line to use. Than I saw Elementary and knew it was perfect.

I didn't want to straight line quilt it like in the magazine so I went with one of my favorites, Orange Peel.

I didn't have enough yardage for binding so I went with a stashed black on black polka dot print that I just love. I think the dark binding finishes it right off.

The best part of this is that I made two. First Christmas present of the year done!
