it's a week late

But I finally got my Valentine's quiltie finished.

I changed it up a bit from the pattern; not a big scallops fan.

Last weekend I was fiddling in my sewing room trying to figure out what to do with some leftover Bento Box quilt blocks.

I cut them in half on the diagonal, sewed them back together, grabbed some Kona solid and came up with this.

Now to find some time to get them quilted. Maybe before next Valentine's Day?
