The other quilt is all the same fabrics but is going to be a different layout. At least I've finished the hsts for that one. But before I can finish(start) on these, I have 4 teacher gifts to finish. For Thursday.

I'm hosting a double baby shower. And I only have (almost) the first quilt finished. I need to add some white down the sides. Then get down to my post office box and pick up the border fabric.

Wow! Busy, busy girl!
I have a question that I'm curious about. When you back a quilt with flannel, do you prewash the flannel to shrink it? I've always wanted to try backing a baby quilt with a cozy flannel, but I've never been sure what the protocol is as how to treat it with the cotton. Anyway, love your recent baby quilts. I think they're really sweet!

I rarely if ever prewash fabric. This way the entire quilt shrinks together when it's washed.
