I am BACK! Jim was able to save everything on my computer and get it all back and running again. Well everything except my camera wizard thingy. It's annoying now how I have to get pictures onto the computer but it's all working and in the end, that is all that matters!
So, let's rewind.
Thursday was a GREAT day! I started off the morning stamping. And I made EIGHT cards-go me!
After lunch, it was time for some quilting. Cindy gave me this sweet-16 pack of Figgy Pudding last year for my birthday. During my fall cleaning spree, I found a sweet-16 book; how perfect was that? A few hours later, I had this.
I thought ahead and did buy some border fabric last fall; so glad I did!
I debated about what to start next when Jim got a phone call that a friend of ours' wife had gone into labour. I had bought a scrap back of baby fabrics and I had a light bulb moment. Would there be enough fabric to make the same quilt again?
The pieces weren't big enough but I found another pattern in the sweet-16 book and with some white from my stash and 2 hours later...
I didn't have anything suitable for the border so I ran to Hamels and found the border fabric Friday afternoon. Perfect!
Two quilts in about 5 hours? Doesn't get much better than that!

Wow! That is some serious sewing! Isn't it nice that as a quilter you can whip up something special for a new baby? Gotta love it!
That was one productive day! Strong work :-) Love the new quilts too!
LOVE that first quilt. Also, I know I've said this before, I love when you add your feet in the pic so I can get an idea of how BIG your quilts are. You are a MACHINE when it comes to quilting!
Good for you! I'm sure the quilt will be loved very much.
