sewing time
I finished some quilts!
This first one makes me pretty excited.
It's my nephew's grad quilt and I absolutely adore how it turned out.
Now to find time to quilt it.
But I did find time to quilt up these three.
And you know I've already started working on something else ;)

quilt monday
Friends of ours had their 25th wedding anniversary and I knew I wanted to make them a quilt. But I didn't want it too feminine and they are moving and buying all new furniture so it had to be an extra special quilt.
How absolutely gorgeous is this?
quilted with HubbyLove
This turned out so much better than I had hoped. Except that it made for a long, skinny quilt. So just before I was going to quilt it, I pulled it apart and made it more square.
I love the softness of the prints and colours.
I went with black for the backing and binding to give it a bit of an edge.
Love!
Happy Monday!
