i'm sew excited


at the progress i'm making on my Thangles quilt. course i could have accomplished sewing some of the rows together today but i got this really great book from the library yesterday...

lost and almost forgotten


i took some pictures with my mom's camera and just kept forgetting to download them. i finally did today and found this quilt that i did before Christmas. i'm not a fan of the bear paw block but this one was/is very striking.

i made this quilt top last summer and finally got it quilted. used one of my new favorite patterns, Bubbles.

i spent the afternoon with Cindy; i'm lucky enough to be her neighbour

we went to Quiltopia and A Quilted Stitch. found some wonderful goodies; now i need to find time to do them lol

got some stamping done last night. March is our birthday month with Jim's mom, both his brothers and sister and one of my cousin's all having birthdays. and we are awaiting the birth of a new niece or nephew any day now to add to the festivities

i'm really pleased with how this card turned out. i really need more male themed stamps instead of leaves lol

paper bag album

we had a Close To My Heart event at my church last night. we made these cute paper bag albums. i have no idea what to do with mine.i've done one before and gave that one away.

Banana Split Parfaits

Serves: 8
Ingredients
1 cup cold milk
1 pkg. (4-serving size) Vanilla Instant Pudding
1-1/2 cups thawed Whipped Topping, divided
24 Vanilla Wafer, divided
2 small bananas
8 maraschino cherries

Directions
1 POUR milk into large bowl. Add dry pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. or until well blended. Gently stir in 1 cup of the whipped topping; spread into 8-inch square pan. Freeze 3 hours or until firm enough to scoop.
2 CHOP 16 of the wafers. Spoon scant tablespoonful of the chopped wafers into each of eight parfait glasses or dessert dishes. Scoop 1/4 cup of the pudding mixture into each glass with ice cream scoop; sprinkle evenly with remaining chopped wafers.
3 CUT bananas in half lengthwise, then cut each piece crosswise in half. Stand 1 banana piece in each parfait glass. Fill evenly with the remaining 1/2 cup whipped topping, remaining 8 wafers and the cherries. Serve immediately
