quilt monday

A few months back a girlfriend asked if I could make her a Christmas tablerunner. She had seen some new ones I had finished( I still have to blog those) and wanted one of her own. She sent me the size she wanted and asked for poinsettias.

I had thought all the prints would make it too busy but it doesn't.

I was sewing it together and realized I needed a solid or two. The green  prints are from my stash and worked perfectly.

I wanted the quilting simple. I did straight lines on mine but felt a pattern would be less distracting on this. I used my Christmas favorite Holly Ribbon.

That black print is my favourite. So prettty.
