happy birthday to

ME!

I've always wanted a birthday quilt; I have a 'seasonal' wall in our living room and have always wanted a birthday quilt for the month of November.

I saw a kit on Connecting Threads a few years ago and it was perfect.

I love the fabrics; cupcakes galore!


Like I said Monday, there was a lot of excess fabric for this kit. I got almost 2 quilt cut out of 1 kit; I just needed more border for the second quilt.

I kept the quilting simple and just meandered the quilt with a pretty pink thread.

And now it's hung on my wall for birthday month.
