got the main body of my latest sewn together today. now to make the borders. hopefully will get this done tomorrow so i can get started on that baby quilt i have waiting lol

and pop by tomorrow to read the end of the story i started here. my baby turns 5 tomorrow!

wordless wednesday

one more

i made 13 cards today-woo hoo! and i have an idea for one more but i've cleaned my area all up so will have to draw it out and save it for next time lol. most of the cards from today are already tucked into the mail to hopefully arrive in time for Mother's Day

using scraps

been trying to empty out my folders of scrap papers so i can justify buying new ones lol. here's some of today's cards. i inked the big flower in the first Bella with some HERO shadow ink. i think i'll add some doodling around the second Bella, she seems to be missing something.

quilt monday

one of my first wall hangings. i look at it now and shudder lol. puffy batting and i just ditched all the blocks-should have done some stippling on it but i didn't. i know better now :)
edited to add the orange thing on the left border of the quilt is a fishing lure's of Jim's he has hanging on the quilt

snack saturday

one of my absolute favorites!

Chicken Fajitas

take 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts sliced. cook until no longer pink. add sliced red/green/yellow/orange peppers and onions. add 1(or 2) cans of corn, fajita seasoning and salsa(amount of salsa to add depends on your personal taste. add allot and it makes allot of liquid and very tasty served over rice. add a bit and its good for soft taco shells)

heat thoroughly and enjoy!
